About Us

My name is Cindy Pak Leaker and I have been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years mostly working in emergency and urgent care medicine. I opened New You Wellness Clinic after trying and researching many anti-aging treatments that helped me become the best version of myself. I only offer treatments that I truly believe in and have tried myself. I want to help my community focus on health and wellness to prevent disease.

My treatments started with aesthetics including Botox and fillers. I loved how natural and almost undetectable my results were, and I felt like myself, only more refreshed. As a nurse practitioner, I knew that I could offer this feeling to others if I studied hard, went to conferences and trained with the best injectors in the country.

As I began learning aesthetics treatments, I realized that beauty and health on the inside are just as, if not more important, that what is on the outside. After childbirth and perimenopause, I could never lose my stubborn belly fat despite eating healthy and working out. After vigorously researching weight loss medications, I decided to give it a try. I lost 15# and 4” off my waist which was life-changing for me.

I had more confidence and felt so much healthier! This made me incredibly happy and it affected every aspect of my life as a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend and coworker.

Perimenopause can cause many symptoms that are associated with ‘normal aging” when in fact, hormone levels are to blame. When I talked with my doctor about having trouble sleeping or feeling depressed or anxious, they offered me sleeping pills and antidepressants. I took them to help my symptoms but when I started bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, I said goodbye to the pills and felt like myself again.

I value connection, communication, and education with my patients as the foundation of my practice.  I believe in empowering and educating my patients to help them navigate their weight loss and wellness goals with medications, hormones and aesthetic treatments.
